Naming and Branding for ‚tzunamic‘ When Berlin-based DJ ‚ownbraed‘ (his name is Ole) came to me, he was ready for a fresh start that would reflect his evolving sound and vibrant personality. He asked me to create a new name for him and after an intense workshop filled with brainstorming and collaboration, I generated over 600 name ideas and narrowed it down to five solid options that I presented to him. Ultimately, he chose tzunamic — a name that perfectly captures his dynamic energy and renewed confidence. 🔥 To complement this new identity, I designed a striking logo that combines dynamic elements with a nod to his roots from the shores of Kiel, Germany. Drawing inspiration from Berlin’s club scene and the vibrant glow of neon lights, the logo totally reflects the energy and rhythm of his music. The final result is a bold, eye-catching design that embodies tzunamic’s character and artistic journey, empowering him to perform not just in Berlin but also during his travels in Asia. I’m so excited to see him take off with this new identity!
